The leaderof the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, said on Wednesday that Catholic bishops should educate politicians who support abortion rights, such as the President of the United States, Joe Biden. He demands that they be taught according to the heart of love and kindness, not to judge them.
Pope Francis, who had returned to Rome from Slovakia, warned Catholic leaders not to keep politicians out of the question as to whether Catholics like President Biden would be barred from approaching the holy table when they prayed.
But the pope refused to answer “yes” or “no” if President Biden was not allowed to attend the king’s table, as requested by the Catholic bishops.
The pastor of the Catholic Church has often said that in the Church’s belief that abortion is murder. But he warned the priests and bishops to behave as pastors rather than as politicians, when they were facing the issue.
